Lace Inspired Charleston South Carolina Wedding Shoot
If you like the idea of being a southern belle for your wedding, we have a shoot that should provide some inspiration. You don't have to be from the south or even have a venue that is in the south in order to have this theme. One of the first things that you need is the right location. This shoot took place at the Spoleto Festival USA headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina. Just look at the large windows, grand walkways or beautiful grounds and you definitely will begin thinking of something quaint.But of course the center of attention will be the bride and we have two beautiful gowns that provide a little bit of southern charm.
The first one is a strapless with a ruffled lace on the bodice right by the neckline. It is very beautiful the way it gathers at the waist but is wide on the bottom. As she sits, she takes over the entire chair. As she stands, it looks so majestic.
The second one is just as amazing. It is a little more A-line and has lace on the entire bodice. It is not as powerful a look but incredible just the same. This would fit the bride that wants a southern belle feel with a modern twist. We just love the way it laces up in the back.
The place setting definitely takes you back in time. You have the lace runner down the middle of the table and the gold trimmed plates with gold silverware. It looks so regal.
The two layer wedding cake is classic yet very feminine. It has very intricate details and the big rose on the side.
They complete the dessert offerings with homemade lemonade. There is nothing more reminiscent of a summer day in the south than a glass of fresh lemonade.
