Eco Organic Wedding Flowers

February 22nd, 2012

I love organic flowers! They are perfect for a organic or rustic wedding. There are so many ways you can incorporate them into your wedding day.

The great thing is they can be used again & again. The best way to use them is for bouquets & boutonnieres.

Calla Lily Flowers – Wedding Bouquet Ideas

February 22nd, 2012

Calla Lily Flowers are putting a stamp on weddings. They have become a popular choice for stand alone flowers or for accents to other flowers. The great thing about Calla Lily Flowers is they are big so you don’t need alot of them. The most popular calla lily color is white. What I love most about this flower is how sturdy it is.

San-Salomie + Joe Real Wedding Africa

February 21st, 2012

This picture perfect couple incorporated the interests they loved to create a personal, chic wedding. San-Salomie looked flawless in her ornate gown – complete with beading and soft ruffles to complement her amazing figure. Her soft updo and long, sheer veil looked beautiful with the wedding dress. Her groom, Joe, looked handsome in his garb, and his love for San-Salomie is evident in every photograph.

The couple exchanged vows in the breathtaking tree top chapel at Red Ivory Lodge, where the views were just stunning. After the ceremony, guests mingled under the Red Ivory Tree to enjoy cocktails and hor d’oeuvres, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful landscape.

Guest seating cards were printed on miniature map replicas of Paris. At the reception, white cloth covered the tables, and beautiful silver vases holding flowers in soft pinks, purples and yellows served as elegant centerpieces

Men who came to the wedding received a ‘tree in a tube’ wedding favor, which is a creative and perfect way for guests to remember this special day!

Gorgeous Sugar Flower Cakes

February 20th, 2012

Believe or not, your wedding cake is an important element in your wedding decoration. I know that it is yummy and you can’t wait to eat it. But until that time, it needs to stand out and blend into your decor. We want to offer some suggestions that can help you decide what type of cake you want. It is not just about the taste. For example, if your wedding is on or near a holiday your cake can carry out that theme. Look at the cake with the hearts. If Valentine’s Day will also be your special day, then this is a great choice. You can also decorate the cake using the colors of your bridal party. The black and white cake is a wonderful example of this. Image a room that has a decor in the same colors. Can’t you see how stunning that would be? Also, you can design the flowers of your cake to resemble your bouquet. We have provided a couple of cakes that display this nicely.

But let’s not forget the table. It has to accent your cake to help it to stand out. If you look at all these cake tables, they all have the pattern of the cake so it seems regal as it sits in the middle. You want people to marvel and be drawn to your cake. Your cake needs to make a statement. So as your do your wedding planning, don’t just buy a cake. Think about it and make sure it reflects your day. Don’t forget to make sure that you plan how to decorate the table as well. You don’t want it just sitting in a corner and not being noticed. You want it to be regal until the magical moment of the cake cutting.

Michelle + Daniel Real Wedding Boca Raton

February 16th, 2012

The gorgeous Boca Raton Resort served as the backdrop for Daniel and Michelle’s beautiful wedding. Michelle looked picture-perfect in her fitted, sweetheart-neckline gown with long veil. Her neutral makeup showed off her natural beauty, and she kept her hair loose and wavy, which complemented her dress beautifully.

Her bridesmaids wore elegant floor-length black gowns with different style necklines – ranging from halter to asymmetrical. Michelle and her bridesmaids all held beautiful bouquets made of white flowers, which contrasted nicely with the black dresses and looked stunning against Michelle’s wedding dress.

Daniel was handsome in his tuxedo and you can just see the romance between the loving couple. The landscape of the Boca Raton Resort added just the right touch of gorgeous lighting and greenery to create fabulous photographs of the pair.

After the wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed the lively reception filled with dancing, live music and fun, which is evident in these gorgeous photos!

Words from the bride:

We live in New York City, but we’d always dreamed of having our wedding at the Boca Resort, where took a romantic weekend trip a few
years ago. From then on, it became one of our favorite places. There is just something magical about the resort. We wanted the style of our
wedding to be classic and elegant — see: our black bridesmaid’s dresses and tuxes – but also unstuffy (see: beers under the Banyon trees during our photo session!) Daniel and I met in college, and we both love live music and a rocking party. One of the best moments for us was when our maid of honor Chrissy’s dad, Pat Cullinan, joined the band to play rhythm guitar on one of our favorite songs, The Allman Brothers’ “Blue Sky.” Our goal for the reception was to bring a backyard party into the Cathedral Room, with greenery and bunches of Michelle’s favorite flower, the hydrangea. We ended up breaking out boas and maracas and hopping on stage with the band — we wouldn’t have had it any other way!

Stefanie + Thorben Real Wedding Achalm Germany

February 15th, 2012

The Reutlingen Achalm served as a beautiful backdrop for Stefanie and Thorben as they exchanged vows on a picture-perfect spring day. The property offered amazing views of the lush hillsides and surrounding landscape, expansive blue sky dotted with puffy white clouds and old picturesque buildings. Stefanie looked absolutely beautiful in a mid-length, strapless gown and soft white flowers accented her updo – perfect for the season.

Inside the church ceremony, Stefanie donned a white cropped jacket. Thorben wore an amazing three-pieced suit and paisley tie, which complemented Stefanie well.

Guests mingled outside in the lovely weather after the church ceremony.

Once inside the reception area, guests of the bride and groom enjoyed the beautiful wood architecture of the location, which gave the space a warm and inviting feel. Windows surrounded the reception venue to offer guests a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.

What a gorgeous wedding and couple!

Valentine’s Day Wedding Inspiration Board

February 14th, 2012

When you think of Valentine’s Day, images of chocolate and hearts immediately come to mind. Why not use this as inspiration for your wedding? Isn’t a wedding a time to celebrate the love that a couple shares as well as their decision to spend the rest of their lives together? Why not blend the two? It can be very simple to do. You can use props, the word love or just hearts. A heart says I love you and no words need to be uttered or displayed. As you can see the bride has the hearts on the bottom of her shoes. If you really want it to be seen, you can place it somewhere else such as on the bride’s gown or even on the lapel of the groom.

How cute are these cupcakes? The heart on top just says it all. The couple holding the love on the string represents their union that they are now one and their love will hold them together. Remember those candy treats at Valentine’s Day that had all of those messages, well why not play off of that and create props that fuse the theme and your feelings for each other.

If you are getting married on or around Valentine’s Day, embrace the feeling and use it for inspiration for your nuptials. The day is about love and showing it. Isn’t that what a wedding is also? Blend the two and show the world how in love you are.

Valentine’s Day Engagement Session

February 14th, 2012

Nothing is more romantic than pictures at the beach. Just seeing a couple in the sand with the back drop of the ocean, it simply says that these people are in love. An engagement session at the beach is perfect to reflect your love. As you look into your partner’s eyes with the setting of the water and the sand, it will show how much you are in love. This is a time that you want to capture to remember years later. It is a special time in your lives and you want to preserve the feeling with pictures. You would also use props to make it even more fun. In these pictures they are using cut out hearts. As they use them in various poses, you can see their joy which allows you to see their love. It is simple but it really gets them to relax and produce wonderful memories.

When planning your engagement session, be creative. You can use the setting, you can use props. But the most important thing is to relax and have fun. Getting married can be very stressful but these pictures need to reflect why you are getting married in the first place. You are in love and you have found your life partner.
