Green Gables Real Wedding in San Diego CA
When planning a wedding with a theme, it is important to consider each and every detail. You want your day to be uniform and cohesive. Tim and Loren did just that. The venue, her gown and even the shoes the groom wore all fit together neatly to tell the story that they wanted for their special day. Tim and Loren designed their California wedding by going back in time. The venue was an old country style home that had furniture that fit in another era and gave you that comfy, cozy feeling. From the sofa to the etagere to the wallpaper, this house was definitely simple yet classic and was perfect for this vintage wedding.
The gown had classic tailoring. It didn’t have a train and the other fancy decorations that are common on modern dresses. It had lace applique on the bodice and a flared skirt. The bridesmaids also wore similar dresses. Her hair was a wonderful complement and she did not even need anything to make it festive. She did not wear a veil but wore it down over her shoulders and it was perfect with her dress. She choose to wear ballet slippers instead of heels. This matched wonderfully with her gown.
The groom and groomsmen also fit in well. They wore white shirts with ties and vests. They did not wear dress shoes but sneakers. Also, the groom’s mustache was another detail that simply added with the vintage theme of the day.
Their wedding took place outside which is also customary in earlier times. But this couple did not let a few raindrops stop their plans.
Their guests took refuge under umbrellas as they watched this couple exchange their vows under the protection of a gazebo. As you watched them go down the aisle, you definitely felt like you were watching a wedding on the tv show, “Little House on the Prairie.”
They had a dessert table with cupcakes and cakes instead of an elaborate tier cake and the tables were numbered using antique picture frames.
They did not stop their theme at the selection of the venue or the bridal attire. The reception also was decorated to further display the vintage influence.
They used simple vases for the centerpieces.
After the nuptials, they didn’t leave in a limousine. Instead, they drove off in a VW bug. It was a perfect ending to their vintage wedding. They drove off as they started their new life together.

You can even use them to help with props in your pictures by wearing signs such as love or mom and dad. If you decide to use your dog, it will definitely give the photographer more unique ideas for pictures.

Las Terrazas Beach Real Wedding in Belize
They say a picture tells a thousand words. Well, the pictures of this destination wedding at the Las Terrazas Resort in Belize speaks volumes. It was simply stunning. You expect picturesque scenery when you think of a wedding on the beach of Belize but you are totally blown away as you watch Meredith and Nicholas take their vows, walk on the beach and dance for the first time as man and wife. The water, the pier, the palm trees and let’s now forget the sand combine to make it a perfect setting. But of course it is not not just nature’s beauty that make this wedding so special. It is also the details of the wedding decor, the flowers as well as the attire of the entire bridal party that takes this over the top. If you closed your eyes, you could envision that you were in a magnificent cathedral watching these nuptials instead of on a beach. They did a great job of blending sophistication and casual. Meredith and Nicholas showed that you can be elegant yet still be relaxed.
Let’s first look at the bride. Her gown is just spectacular. It is a strapless lace dress that flows so easily even though it has a train. Her accessories are wonderful. She had her hair in a bun to the side accented with a flower. The flower had jewels in it. What a great touch! Her veil was hanging over her hair which was definitely more casual than you would expect for such an incredible gown. But it fit perfectly with their theme. The bride’s jewelry of course was pearls.
The bridesmaids were in short blue dresses. In more traditional weddings, they would all wear identical dresses. But not with this event. They wore similar yet different styles and shades which blended in simply beautifully with the bouquet that had flowers of the same shades of blue. The boutonnieres for the guys had the same arrangement.
Next, let’s look at the groom and groomsmen. They wore white shirts with tan slacks. Only the groom had a jacket and tie. Their attire blended in well with the sand. This was perfect for the setting. They were nicely dressed but still looked casual.
Even though they were on the beach, they paid attention to detail. Many times with beach weddings, the most important elements are the sand and the water. Many couples just put up some white chairs for their guests to sit and allow nature to provide the rest. Well, this couple went a step further. They laid out a runner for the bridal party to walk down the aisle, they had sea shells at the end of each row and they used the same flowers in the bouquets as accent.
What kind of shoes can you wear in the sand? You get it in your shoes or it is difficult to walk. Well, they did not wear any at all. This once again just made this elegant wedding more casual.
When planning your wedding, don’t be limited by the setting. Meredith and Nicholas showed that you have can have an elegant affair even on the beach. Remember this is your day and each detail makes it even more special and helps create memories that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Tom + Amanda Village Fete Real Wedding in Hurley UK
This beautiful couple created a stunning wedding, complete with all the right touches. Amanda looked very chic in her Alice Temperley wedding dress and House of Fraser heels. Her fabulous updo complemented the feel of the dress, and was accented by a floral hair accessory. The bridesmaids and children added a gorgeous pop of color to the wedding party – bridesmaids wore short, vibrant-colored dresses, while the children looked darling in floral dresses and white cardigans. Tom looked regal in his tuxedo – and his groomsmen looked equally handsome.
The couple exchanged vows in a beautiful, traditional church, and once the ceremony was over, guests met in the spectacular garden of the Lee Farm House.
Stunning bouquets created the perfect garden reception, and the pinks, whites, greens and creams looked fabulous against the greenery of the landscape.
