Downtown Iowa Engagement Photos

Iowa engagement photos. Ashley and TJ are a youthful pair who chose a charming Downtown area for their engagement photos in Iowa. Historic buildings and quirky takes paired nicely with their laid-back and cool demeanors. Ashley is a radiant blonde and her first look consisted of a short light blue and white patterned dress with neutral-colored heels. TJ wore a dark gray suit, light gray tie and brown shoes. They stood hand-in-hand on the steps of an apartment building with a unique wooden entrance.

In the same outfits, they strolled the streets, pausing for brief shots along the way.

The photographer got a classic ring shot and even photographed TJ's hands in the same position as Ashley's.

It's clear the couple had fun with some nifty shadow shots. Whether it was the pavement or their silhouettes outlined on the grass, they embraced every second.

They did one outfit change and went from classy and casual to evening sophistication. Ashley chose a royal blue and black dress with a pleated knee-length skirt and chic black heels. AJ went sans jacket and wore a white button down, a black tie and gray pants.

They continued their journey through Downtown, relishing in the architecture and sunlight.

They sealed their engagement session with a kiss.

Engagement photos are meant to capture the beginning of a great new adventure together. Ashley and TJ were cool and casual for their Downtown photos and like the sunshine, they let their personalities shine the whole way.
