Silver Oaks Chateau Wedding

McKenzie and Nate said “I do” at the dreamy Silver Oaks Chateau in St. Louis, Mo. Their Silver Oaks Chateau wedding was marked by colorful blooms, bohemian touches, and a few incredible surprises. The bride started the day in the venue’s bridal suite, getting ready with her best girls by her side. She stepped into a lace-inspired sweetheart style dress with straps that featured generous sparkle. Her gown was accompanied by a beaded veil and crown. As she was getting ready, she noticed that Nate wrote a love note on the bottom of her shoes.

McKenzie’s maids of honor, bridesmaids, and junior bridesmaid all wore long blush dresses with flowing silhouettes. The group of ladies carried bouquets featuring assorted pink and peach roses, hibiscus, and silver dollar eucalyptus.

Guests were greeted by handwritten signs and the ceremony spot was designed with towering flower arrangements, lanterns, and a beautiful floral arch.

McKenzie couldn’t wait to see her groom. Nate, who chose a classic black suit and white tie for his wedding day, was led out to the ceremony just moments before she walked down the aisle.

Nate’s father officiated the ceremony underneath the lush floral arbor, and offered the couple advice on love, marriage, and their future together. After making their promises to one another, the two sealed their vows with a kiss.

They were whisked away for a few post-ceremony photos under the trees and in front of the beautiful stonework of the venue, as guests retreated to the chateau’s patio for the beginning of the reception.

The couple’s cake was artistic and simple with its gold-brushed detail on three white tiers. It was topped with a glittering “Mr. & Mrs.” for a chic finish.

Nate had another surprise for his bride as they entered the reception. He surprised McKenzie with a song and shared their first dance as husband and wife underneath the romantic glow of the bistro lights.

They dined and danced with friends and family as the evening fell. When they were ready to say “goodbye,” McKenzie and Nate made their exit through a flurry of sparklers – a fitting ending to their sparkling, warm, and beautiful wedding day at Silver Oaks Chateau.
