The Stockroom at 230 Raleigh Wedding
Meaghan and Joey planned quite the detailed-filled wedding celebration. Set at the Stockroom at 230 in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, they decided upon a bright color palette with rustic décor to bring this chic exposed-brick venue to life. Navy blue and hot pink were the two main colors. And it’s first spotted in the couple’s save-the-date card, for which they followed up with a fun peacock feather invitation suite.
Meaghan wore a ruched sweetheart neckline gown with a mermaid skirt and beaded belt.
Her bridesmaids wore short navy blue one-shoulder dresses and all the ladies carried bouquets full of color with various kinds of hot pink and light pink roses, dusty miller, and eucalyptus.
Joey and his groomsmen all wore unique gray suits, navy vests, and striped pink ties. His boutonniere was made from white flowers and dusty miller to coordinate.
Before the ceremony, the wedding party took photos outside in the Carolina sunshine. They were even able to find a beautiful fountain to serve as a nice backdrop.
Inside the Stockroom at 230, the ceiling was strung with Edison bulbs. At the top of the aisle, white fabric was draped from the ceiling and two tall arrangements filled with greenery and purple hydrangea were placed on both sides to create the ceremony space.
Meaghan looked simply radiant as she was escorted down the aisle to Joey. The venue’s large windows provided ample natural light to truly bring warmth and romance to this space.
After the ceremony, guests found their seats from puzzle pieces used as escort cards.
Reception tables were decorated with white linens, natural wooden chairs, centerpieces with pink and white flowers, and navy blue napkins.
The head table was designated with a large puzzle piece with the couple’s initials, candles, and a small assortment of flowers. On the backs of their chairs hung wooden “Mr.” and “Mrs.” signs.
The dessert table overflowed with scrumptious treats, including an assortment of delicious cupcakes. And behind it stood a large custom painted chalkboard wall made from two of the groomsmen!
Meaghan and Joey enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife in front of their friends and family To kick off their wedding celebration in this most unique venue.
Sometimes it’s hard to create rustic romance when you’re in a big city, but Meaghan and Joey pulled it off beautifully. From the wooden touches to the delicate juxtaposition of the soft fabrics and exposed brick, these two clearly have eyes for each other, as well as maybe a detail or two. Congratulations, Meaghan and Joey!
