Oregon Engagement Session By Anne Blodgett Photography

When you think of engagement shoots, you think of an opportunity to get some pictures of the two of you in a more relaxed setting. Most couples give careful consideration about what they should wear. They select locations that are special to them or that will provide the right setting. Very rarely do couples travel in order to have their shoot reflect a special time in their lives. Well, Megan and Scott did just that when they traveled to Oregon to have their engagement session. This couple first met during the summer of 2009 and spent a wonderful time together. They wanted to recreate that time and so they traveled to Oregon for their engagement session. Megan is a Chicago native and Scott hails from California but their initial meeting was not in either place. It was in Alaska where they were both working at a fishing lodge. They used many elements in their shoot to recreate their special summer. They have a picture of them holding ice cream cones. We are sure that they had romantic strolls along the pier with ice cream. They are also wearing sunglasses. She is also wearing a rain jacke in some shots. oregon engagements ice cream oregon engagements oregon engagements oregon engagements oregon engagements oregon engagements oregon engagements oregon engagements oregon engagements  oregon engagements

They embrace along the water as they walk. They take pictures alone. They take pictures along the pier. The backdrop with the lighthouse is perfect. They also use the foliage and greenery around the shoreline. They change their outfits. More than anything, they look as though they are having a great time.
