You might recognize the groom Nick Drago from Dancing with the Stars, La La Land or Glee and you might recognize his stunning bride Chelsea Blechman from Furious or Animal Kingdom. I met Chelsea years ago when she modeled for an editorial I was shooting in Los Angeles and I was honored when she reached out about capturing her wedding day!
During the wedding process, Chelsea stumbled upon every girl's dream venue, Chateau Cocomar, which was built in the form of a French-styled castle. She instantly fell in love with the venue and because Nick had always treated me like a princess, getting married to her Prince Charming in a castle felt just like a fairytale!
Being from California and in the film industry, the couple wanted to evoke an Old Hollywood vibe, with red roses and black and gold accents. The venue was perfect for their vision!
Chelsea spent the morning getting ready in one of the stately rooms and we even managed to fit in an ethereal bridal boudoir session before she changed into her stunning Pallas Couture gown. Every detail was beautifully accounted for, from Chelsea's stunning Pallas Couture gown to her Tom Ford heels, she was a vision!
The couple shared their first look and exchanged their handwritten vows privately before heading to their ceremony surrounded by friends and family. It was such a romantic and intimate moment!
The cake deserved a stage of it's own and towered over 3 feet tall, with custom, hand painted etchings of the lace design on Chelsea's couture gown around the perimeter of the cake.
Speeches brought the couple to tears and dancing continued well into the night! The evening ended with a red carpet leading into a sparkler exit and into the couple's vintage Rolls Royce for the perfect getaway moment!
