A recent photography workshop in the heart of Moscow enlivened our senses to winter wedding inspiration. Set deep in the illustrious woods of Emerald Forest, a bride and groom envelope themselves in snow and embrace the chilliest of seasons for a heartwarming celebration. With a rustic and romantic ambiance, an invitation suite features a lovely blush pink palette.
The bride’s bouquet, displayed on a wooden reception chair, presents a soft array of colors including white and black anemones, white roses, and delicate wildflowers in pastel hues.
This winter bride looks stunning in a white sweater as she holds her bouquet. Her hair is softly curled and she accessorizes with beaming statement earrings and a beaded hair comb.
In addition to her winter white sweater, she keeps warm with an immaculate pair of white gloves to accompany her classic floral-inspired gown.
The groom looks debonair and sophisticated with a heavy gray winter coat adorned with a traditional boutonniere.
In the midst of the snow-packed ground, he joins the bride and the two walk hand-in-hand. Nothing could be more wedding-appropriate than surrounding yourself with nature’s blanket of white.
The rings are displayed in a rustic wooden box place on the winter-inspired table. Place settings include an elegant pairing of clear and blush china plates with elaborate designs, finished off with dark blue cheesecloth and small sprigs of blue flowers for an extra dose of wintry inspiration.
Vintage blue glassware and thick pillar candles also echo the snowy surroundings.
Even with the cold, the bride and groom are happy and cozy at the reception table.
While the table is a beautiful vision with ripples of fabric mimicking frozen water, it also features a gorgeous white cake. It’s appropriately decorated with white fondant that resembles a cable-knit sweater.
The silver and blue touches stand out against the white backdrop of Emerald Forest. And as the groom holds the cake close, his bride pulls in even closer for one last snowy shot.
Winter is the most breathtaking season if we only dare to step outside and experience it. The chance to share a special moment like this one in created in Moscow would be a winter wedding dream come true.
