Union Hill Inn Sonora CA Wedding
Their wedding day at Union Hill Inn in Sonora, California, was inspired by Patricia’s affection for the 1920s. It was all things romantic, vintage, and colorful. A work trip can change your life, just ask bride Patricia. She met Arnaud while visiting California for work and knew immediately it would not be the last time they would see each other. They never officially “dated” because she lived in England but their connection was stronger than the time difference and the miles in between. It only took a year before Patricia packed up and moved to California to be with her love.
She wore a flattering V-neck gown with a flowing skirt. Her dark hair was tightly curled and adorned with a most appropriate embellished headband. And she walked down the aisle in a surprising pair of bright blue embellished heels.
The flowers for the day consisted mostly of roses, dahlias, and thistle. The stunning dark red, pink, and green were the perfect complement to the gorgeous Union Hill Inn.
With the sweet peal of a harp in the background, Patricia exchanged vows with Arnaud. Their intimate gathering of guests created a warm and much-loved feeling in the rustic venue.
The romantic and delicate ambiance continued at the reception. Place settings were presented with floral china and ribbon-tied menu cards, all on a long family-style table.
The soft California sunshine perfectly enveloped the group as they dined under a clear sky and filled the evening with laughter, jokes, tears, and smiles. And of all the pictures taken on their wedding day, the look of sheer joy on their family’s faces is one Patricia and Arnaud won’t soon forget.
