Two Tier Wedding Cake Ideas

Not every wedding requires a huge cake. For intimate occasions or for the couple looking to save on wedding costs, a two-tier cake has just as much potential to be an elegant and coveted confection. This classic white creation features delicate pearl-dotted layers. Gold buttercream is thinly piped around the top and bottom edges of each tier. Beautiful white roses are strategically placed around the layers and on the top for a lovely floral finish.

Two tier cakes can even have notable height. This cake has a base layer that is noticeably taller than most cake tiers. Sitting on a gold cake stand, this white fondant-covered layer has gold-dusted fondant flowers and leaves suspended down the side. The bride and groom can save the smaller top-tier with its simple gold band and small white, blush and gold flower topper.
