Rustic Headland Alabama Styled Wedding Shoot

You are planning your wedding and you want something a little rustic but you are actually quite chic. If you are wondering if the two can be blended, we have a styled shoot from Headland,  Alabama that we feel can provide you with some inspiration. Believe it or not, one of the first things that you need to do is decide is the venue. It will set the tone and you can build your theme from there. The shoot took place at the Southern Cross Ranch in Columbia, Alabama and they were able to use props that were naturally there to enhance the photos. We have talked about the rustic but how about the chic. The gown is amazing and it is not something you would expect a bride to wear at a wedding at a ranch. This beautiful strapless dress has such wonderful applique throughout and a spectacular jeweled waistband. The outfit is completed with drop earrings.

Her hair is in a loose bun and she has a flowers in her hair. This is both chic and rustic. But her shoes are cowboy boots which is rustic all the way. The groom is wearing a gray suit and pink tie. There isn't any rustic in that ensemble. It definitely chic.

The landscape of the ranch, the large logs and a horse are used to further enhance the rustic flavoring. It is so natural because they are all elements that are there anyway. They help to enhance the theme.

There are also do it yourself items that are used to make it more down to earth. There was a chalkboard with a wedding message, a attache case decorated to hold cards for the couple and the napkin holders.

Let's talk about more of the chic aspects of the shoot. The numbers for the tables is in a vase. Now it may seem like a do it yourself item but it is very chic and trendy because it is so different.

They have flowers in a bird cage which is very cutting edge but we can't forget about the cake. It is so fancy. It is only one large tier but the details along the sides are spectacular.
