One could say Joanie and Adam’s anniversary shoot was 20 years in the making. After two decades together, 16 years married, three kids and one great mission, it was no surprise their gorgeous anniversary shoot was a natural, sophisticated session at Crow Wing State Park in Brainerd, Minn.
Joanie channeled a beautiful bridal vibe with the incorporation of a texture-filled bouquet of
magnolia leaves, black and white anemones, roses and curly willow.
The colors balanced perfectly with her white and gray gown. The halter-style top featured elegant lace details while the skirt was flowy and perfect for the outdoors.
Adam joined his wife by wearing a dark gray jacket and light brown pants to pair with a white shirt. And of course, both of them wore their cherished wedding rings.
Their darling three children joined them on their anniversary shoot, creating a gorgeous family photo right near the water.
They played, they laughed and while the kids were busy, Joanie and Adam snuck in a few sweet kisses.
The couple also managed to capture a few shots of just the two of them, where Adam reclined in the grass and Joanie stared adoringly at her husband.
They walked hand-in-hand, a symbol of an enduring love that has survived life’s ups and downs – a love ultimately filling their lives with greater joy and purpose than they ever could have imagined, including starting a ministry.
Love has no end date and celebrating the special relationships in our lives is something we should always do. For Joanie and Adam, their twentieth year together was one to honor and remember with a special photo session. And with their kids in tow, this couple showed the faith behind their relationship – a faith that will continue to serve them another 20 years and beyond.
