Ink 48 New York Styled Shoot
Taken atop Ink 48 with the Hudson River in the background, this New York wedding styled shoot is full of glamorous details. From the glass invitation panel, to the black, white, and gold décor, to the bride’s style, everything about this shoot is marvelously modern and proof that the Empire State is where dreams are made.
The bride’s ring is a unique bauble. The vintage piece, called “The Louvre,” is a 14K gold ring circa 1880. A center diamond is flanked by four smaller diamonds, and touches of black enamel add a unique quality to the timeless ring.
The bride is styled with a strapless gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, sheer corset back, detachable tulle overskirt and jeweled belt at the natural waist.
The bridesmaids wear black metallic, crinkle chiffon. One wears a modified A-line silhouette and strapless sweetheart neckline, featuring sheer Carolina Chantilly lace insets at the natural waist.
The other dons an A-line silhouette with a sheer pleated one shoulder neckline and lace cap sleeve detail with a ruched dropped waist skirt.
Each lady also wears a chic pair of pointed heels to match.
The flowers are dark and lovely. The bride’s bouquet features Dutch hydrangea, calla lilies, dahlias, astrantia and basil.
An innovative addition to the ceremony scene is the vow book by Wedding Story Writer. The vow book features a platinum velvet cover with a black silk ribbon. The inside features hand painted flowers and vows from the bride and groom, handwritten by a select calligrapher.
The celebratory tables include modern gold and black candlesticks with tall white tapers, gold flatware, and a gorgeous collection of black and gold plates.
A black napkin and personalized gold maple leaf complete each place setting.
The ultra-modern shoot continues with a contemporary cake design.
This black and white design is crafted with geometric shapes and clean lines, all from fondant and gold leaf.
