Ashley and Keenan wed in the heart of gold country at David Girard Vineyards in Placerville, Calif. As a laidback couple, their special day evoked their loving, relaxed style. With sweeping views of the landscape under a gentle California sun, their wedding was the perfect compilation of all things light, fresh, and romantic.
The venue served as the muse for the wedding. A color palette of gray, white and green supplied nearly every detail. And the radiant, aromatic outdoor scene proved a sensory-filled experience.
Ashley took special attention to her accessories, as did the groom! For her wedding day heels, Keenan wrote a special message to his bride on the bottom of her shoes. How sweet!
Ashley’s bridal style was boho chic. The morning of the wedding, she got ready with her bridesmaids in matching floral rompers, and then changed into a lovely lace gown with show stopping open back.
She accessorized with a floral crown made of seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus, the same as in her bouquet. The greenery looked idyllic with her wavy locks and peek-a-boo braid.
Her bridesmaids all coordinated in light neutral-colored gowns and carried bouquets similar to the bride’s.
Keenan looked extra sharp, too! His accessories were every bit as important, as he matched his floral pocket square with his tie to accompany a navy blue tuxedo.
And his groomsmen all matched in the same fitted tuxes, as well as gray ties, to make for one handsome group!
Ashley affixed a short veil to her floral crown for the ceremony and under a sprawling tree with the vineyard just behind them, she joined hands with Keenan in front of family and friends.
A kiss sealed the deal and they were off to take couple’s photos. They basked in the magic of their venue, with the ever-present lush vines providing ample color along the way.
The reception featured the same crisp white color palette, accented with the signature eucalyptus touches. Lanterns and bright accents completed the reception décor.
And they polished off the night with an untraditional white wedding cake – a tower of French macaroons!
Ashley and Keenan are as sweet as they are stunning, and it showed in their special vineyard wedding. Sticking to a natural, effortless theme lets your personality and relationship truly shine – rivaling the brilliance of the California countryside.
