Capital City Christian Church Wedding
Ashley and Tim wanted their Boise, Idaho, wedding to be unique and beautiful. They had a traditional ceremony at Capital City Christian Church and celebrated at the Owyhee Building in Downtown Boise. The entire event was ethereal, romantic, and full of elegance with traces of gold in every turn. The couple, who are originally from San Francisco, are now residents of Boise so it was here that they wanted to get married in front of their family and friends. The Owyhee Building was the perfect choice and is a newly renovated location that is an ideal downtown destination for a wedding reception.
Ashley was a stunning bride. Every detail she incorporated into her wedding day look was inspired and graceful and spoke to her classic tastes.
She wore a strapless mermaid style gown with a sweetheart neckline and accessorized with a sheer shawl held together by one of her grandmother’s beloved brooches. Her hair was fashioned in a classic low style, complemented by a pair of earrings.
Ashley’s bouquet was a wonderful creation of light pink roses, thistle, and assorted greenery.
As the sunlight cascaded in through the canopy of the trees, Ashley took some photos on a bridge with her best girls by her side. They wore a spectrum of champagne dresses, all different in styles and shapes. The one cohesive element was their texture-filled bouquets.
Ashley wore a cathedral-length veil with lace trim that looked incredible as she came down the aisle. In the heart of the church, the couple promised each other forever as they said “I do” in front of their cherished guests.
They were all smiles as they exited the church and began taking photos as husband and wife.
Back at the bridge, the entire wedding party gathered to take photos with the bride and groom. The joy and excitement among the group was palpable.
The reception venue was a flower-filled dream. The couple incorporated various arrangements to soften, as well as add color, to the event space.
The cake was a sparkling gold dream. Two simple tiers were dusted with edible gold glitter and looked almost too pretty to cut.
Guests dined on hearty appetizers and enjoyed drinks in personalized glasses from the bride and groom. The entire group danced the night away.
However, before the night was through, Ashley and Tim snuck outside for a romantic photo overlooking all of Boise. Ashley transformed her look from classic to chic, letting her hair down and changing into a statement necklace.
A beautiful wedding was what they wanted and a beautiful wedding was what they got! Ashley and Tim truly planned a golden day, a day in which the light followed them wherever they went.
