Bright Summer Wedding.

This editorial shoot was created to celebrate the simple beauty of the impending summer season. We imagined a care free bride surrounded by the bright garden style florals that are found in the summertime.

Summer in Florida is hard to beat. The weather is perfect (if you love the hot weather like me!) and the flowers are abundant! This summer wedding inspiration took place in Cassandra’s (Ever After Vintage Weddings) studio. Originally it was supposed to be in a large field with tall grass – light streaming through trees dripping with Spanish moss but when Florida’s afternoon thunderstorms change your plans, you go with your plan B!

We layered gold rimmed china and flatware on top of the patterned linen from Over The Top Inc. Cassandra designed a had a large, cascading centerpiece with greenery and an array of roses and astrantia. The vines from the centerpieces wove their way up the candlesticks. The invitation suite from Debbie Wong Designs played off of the flowers that Cassandra had selected for the inspiration. For dessert, we all enjoyed a beautiful two-tiered cake from Wander Whisk. Complete with gold leaf flaks and an asymmetrical rim, the cake was just as stunning as it was delicious!
