All That Glitters Gold and Coral Wedding Inspiration

All That Glitters Gold and Coral Wedding Inspiration.

Metallics are a huge trend in wedding design. From silver to bronze and to the gold seen here, the shimmery tones add glamour and set a majestic touchstone for such a special occasion. The lovely thing about using metallic hues is that you can also incorporate any bold color, as well, to infuse some energy and excitement into the arrangement. For example, using bold-colored flowers, such as dark reds, oranges or even some lush greenery, can set off the metallic gold in a luxurious way. Pair it with a softer accent color for added dimension and fun. These coordinated colors help to highlight the gold in a complementary and subtle way so as not to overpower the look and feel of the design.

Brides don't have to just think about decor. They can incorporate their signature color into their look, as well. Bridal wear has definitely entered into the sparkling space with various designers branching out and incorporating these tones into their creations. Here, the bride wears a white gown with dots of gold sprinkled about the skirt.

A bride can also integrate gold in other ways if she prefers to keep the dress more modest. She can wear a sparkling pair of high heels, a unique golden headpiece that accentuates the bride's hairstyle or golden-toned eye shadow for a shimmery effect. She can also peg her bridesmaids to wear confident gold dresses to dress up her side of the aisle.

Invitation suites, menu cards or place settings are a great way to infuse metallic hues into a standard paper practice. Use golden fonts, or mix it up and find an envelope that offers a golden inside jacket for a bit of a stellar surprise that will be a feast for your guests eyes.

Metallic tones are convenient to use in any wedding because they never go out of style. No matter what month or season your wedding takes place, using gold as an accent touch is attractive and available. Use a metallic hue in small doses and your wedding day will be golden, in more ways than one.
