The Heathrow Country Club Florida Real Wedding.
Marilyn Monroe was quoted once saying ive a girl the right pair of shoes and she can conquer the world. When bride Melissa showed up for her wedding wearing a stunning pair of wineberry colored Manolo Blahnik heels, she set the tone for her special day. Melissa and Jared made it an affair to remember with classic details popping up at every opportunity during their celebration at the Heathrow Country Club in Heathrow, Florida.
The ceremony for Melissa and Jared’s wedding was the picture-perfect example of romantic elegance. The aisle was lined with rose petals and clear ceremony chairs were embellished with pink satin wraps and a small bundle of soft pink flowers with pearl accents. The clean, sleek chairs were a modern, yet classic way of transforming the ceremony space. Melissa was escorted by her mother and father down the aisle and greeted her groom under a white gazebo touched with shimmering fabric, soft arrangements of pink roses and a chandelier.
Melissa kept it simple and sophisticated with a flowing gown complete with a crystal waist band. The real eye-catcher was the back of the dress, where a cascade of modest ruffles descended from her back to the train. She wore a waist-length veil and framed her face with a stunning pair of earrings. She carried a soft bouquet of ivory and light pink roses, peonies and white poppy in the center.
The bridesmaids looked radiant in taupe-colored, one-shoulder dresses with a glimmering embellishment at the shoulder. Each girl got to wear her own stylish and sassy heels and all of their bouquets mimicked the bride’s.
Jared and his groomsman all looked handsome and coordinated in black suits. Jared stood out with a pink tie while the rest of the gentlemen wore gray. Never to be outdone, the guys wore some snazzy shoes of their own – cowboy boots! Such a quirky, yet understated nod to their personalities!
Melissa and Jared’s ceremony and reception took place later in the evening, which made every detail intimate and endearing.
The celebration took place in a room filled with rose-colored lights and glimmering hues of gold, pearl and pink. It was a mixture of vintage and modern-day enchantment. Large candelabras with white hydrangea blooms sat high in the center of the tables, accompanied with gentle swags of pearls and gold candle holders and chargers. White linens and menus created a tasteful balance. A unique touch to the head table was Melissa’s chair. The back was dressed with a cover resembling the skirt of a bridal gown and a stream of pearls was clasped together with a pink cameo. This was a gorgeous feminine upgrade to the standard reception chair.
One trend that’s quickly catching fire is the naked wedding cake “ a cake that only contains buttercream (or any other frosting) in between the layers instead of the outside, and decorated with minimal detail. Melissa and Jared chose this kind of three-tiered cake as a sweet addition to the reception, complete with layers of white peonies, ivory colored roses and lavender colored roses.
And before they left, the couple literally let their hair down. Melissa quickly changed her hairstyle from the updo she wore at the ceremony to hanging naturally at her shoulders.
The couple was sent off in a vintage peach-colored Chevrolet convertible. They showed up to the wedding in style and they left it in style, ready to conquer the world as husband and wife!
