Listening to the ocean and hearing crashing waves, provided wonderful music as Tamisha and Jarrod Grant exchanged their vows on June 18, 2010 at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
If you want your wedding to be a small intimate gathering of close friends and family, a destination wedding might be a good choice for you. You not only have breathtaking scenery but you get a honeymoon also. Many resorts will give the couple discounts to stay before and after the nuptials. Your guests also have a chance to get a vacation while attending your wedding.
But small does not mean that you have to skimp on the details. Their wedding coordinator, Elizabeth Miranda along with the florist, Tai Flora, created a beautiful atmosphere that only magnified the beauty of the setting. The color selection of green and yellow matched perfectly with the white linen.
A destination wedding also provides opportunities for the photographer to take pictures before and after the wedding. You can have your engagement pictures taken before the ceremony and then have even more pictures taken after the wedding. Usually, your photographer is hired for the day of wedding only. A destination wedding allows you to have your photographer for days as you prepare for the wedding and then celebrate afterward.
If you aren't too attached to your dress, you can even have pictures taken in the water with your groom. It is both beautiful and romantic.
Think small and dream large. A destination could be a great choice for you.
