Union Pier Michigan Real Wedding

Union Pier Michigan Real Wedding. Weddings are by nature very sentimental. You have your family and friends gathered to witness two people pledge their love for one another and commit to spend their lives together. One of the ways to make this event even more heart wrenching is to make some of the items yourself or to include things that have a strong emotional attachment. When Jason and Jessica got married in Union Pier, Michigan, Jason made many of the items by hand. They also had other handmade pieces as well. How special is that?

Jason made the wedding arbor out of driftwood. He created an entry way for the guests to enter out of old French doors. He made the bar from reclaimed wood and the bar tables from barn wood and old ladders. Even the light fixtures were the result of Jason's handiwork. They were made from old house windows. When Jason and Jessica reflect back on their wedding in years to come, each of these pieces will be remembered with fondness. They all helped their big day even more special.

Jason was not the only artisan at this wedding. The centerpieces with the flowers as well as the candles in the mason jars were handmade. Let's not forget the creative way the names of the guests were displayed or even the place designed for guests to put their monetary wedding presents.

Jessica's looked gorgeous in her sleeveless gown. It had such wonderful applique in the skirt and the train was fabulous. She accented it with pearls which was perfect. The bridesmaids wore short dresses that matched the color scheme of the bouquets.
