The wedding took place at the Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club. This club is known for its golf courses and numerous famous golfers like Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Greg Norman, Fred Couples, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Nick Faldo, Michelle Wie, and Craig Stadler as well as other top professionals in the sport have played on the greens. You felt that you were at a resort instead of golf course because of the water, the pier, and the landscape, it was so picturesque. It was the perfect backdrop for this stunning wedding. Ryokos' gown was gorgeous. It was strapless with diamond accents in the waist and lace applique throughout the bottom. The coordination of the two layers worked well and provided a nice contrast which added to its beauty. She complemented it with pearls which was a good choice. She had a pearl bracelet and had flat shoes with pearl like design on the front. She looked dressy but was definitely comfortable. She wore her hair in a loose bun which made the gown stand out even more.
The groom and groomsmen wore suits with ties. It was classic attire.
Let's talk about the bride and groom. This just looked stunning. Their attire was very classic and it matched well with their venue. They were just simple and elegant.
When Ryoko and Brendan got married in Richmond, British Colombia, Canada, their cake left us speechless. It is a sight to behold. First of all, it was five layers. As you got closer to the top, the cakes were smaller and smaller which even added to its magnificence. It had ornate designs on the sides and around the edges they had cookies like accessories. It looked like two desserts in one. But they had the letter C on top which represents the first initial of their last name, Campbell. Even the presentation, was great since they had wine and lit candles around the cake. However, the cake was not the only element that was wonderful about these nuptials.
At the reception, it was wonderful how they continued some of the same decor choices. The centerpieces had the same flowers as the bridal bouquets. It was very cohesive. It was just a bunch of flowers in a tall vase but they looked regal as they were sat in the middle of the tables. The name cards were also unique. They had the same ornate design that was the wedding cake. It was a nice touch and showed the careful planning of the wedding.
This was an amazing wedding from top to bottom but you can see that they definitely did not go overboard. Ryoko and Brendan showed that a great wedding is not necessarily one that has every detail perfect but one that highlights special features and focuses on the main thing, the nuptials. This is a time to celebrate two becoming one. Just relax and make sure your details are cohesive and you will have an amazing wedding experience. You will have memories to cherish for a lifetime.
