Spring Pittsboro North Carolina Wedding
Christina and Qahir were so excited for their Pittsboro North Carolina wedding at the picturesque Fearrington Village. While most couples fear rainy weather on their big days, this couple embraced it, regardless of the forecast. And although the skies were dark and the air was damp, their first kiss saw a welcome hint of sunlight. Christina wore a splendid lace fit-and-flare gown with lace straps. She accessorized with a fingertip-length veil and carried a simply sweet light pink rose and ranunculus bouquet.
Her bridesmaids looked amazing in an assortment of long dresses, all in various shades of blue, while the Maid of Honor exclusively wore a pattern. The ruching detail at the top of each dress and of course, the matching bouquets created a seamless look.
Qahir and his groomsmen looked like handsome modern men in slick gray suits. They complemented the look of the bridesmaids with light blue ties.
The couple were married at the garden terrace. In front of a stone fireplace decorated with floral swags, the two said “I do” in front of their loving family and friends.
After the ceremony, the rain let up for a moment so the couple could take photos. An expansive group photo looked smashing in front of the grand venue.
Christina and Qahir continued through the gardens and made their way out to the dairy farm for a charming photo before heading into the reception.
The barn was radiantly beautiful and expressed no evidence of a damp day. Lights and fabric panels were strung across the ceiling for a dramatic and soft effect. Long wooden tables with matching chairs were placed around the perimeter of the room to seat guests.
The bride and groom’s chairs were personalized with handmade signs and a “better together” banner.
The cake was simple, but sweet. Four white tiers featured a combed buttercream effect with pearl beading along the tiers. Small touches of pink ranunculus were placed on the cake, along with a duo of branded lovebirds.
They enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife as laughter was plentiful on the dance floor. They dined with their loved ones and observed the celebration around them.
At the end of the evening, they escaped outside for one last kiss. Damp, but dreamy the two expressed complete satisfaction on their incredible wedding day.
You have no control over your wedding weather but you do have control over how you react to it. Christina and Qahir knew they would enjoy every second - no matter what. This couple was certainly built to last through my much more than a few raindrops.
