If you are planning an outdoor wedding, most people pray for it not to rain. After all, usually the entire event would be ruined by the rainfall. Well, the water actually fit perfectly with the nuptials of Hunter and Olivia at a North Carolina campground.
Their decorations definitely fit the venue as well. Hunter is a crabber and they decorated crab pots, books tied with twine and twigs. They also used lanterns. It was so simple but it really added to the ambiance.
Now, their wedding party was large by any standard. The little girls were dressed in the same colors as the groom with darling headpieces. The bridesmaids had on white dresses and the groomsmen had on the same ensemble as the groom. How unique?
The couple were dressed perfectly for the wedding venue. The bride was wearing a beautiful tiered white cotton wedding gown. The groom wore a casual shirt with khakis. You could not pick a better ensemble for this setting. They looked classy but not too dressy for their venue.
The guests were not swayed by the muddy setting. Many wore boots or walked around in muddy shoes. The reception took place under a tent on the campground.
The cake could not be more ideal. It had multiple tiers but did not have lots of flowers or decorations. It was just simply white. The only decoration were two love birds on top. The message was so perfect.
We hope that you see that you can have a wedding anywhere. It is your day and it should reflect what you are about. Remember, don't let anything stop your fun. Just go with the flow no matter what happens and you will have memories that you can cherish. Hunter and Olivia will always remember their muddy shoes and their guests walking around in boots. Celebrating your love and making memories. Isn't that what weddings are about?
