Well, if you like that thought why not consider getting married on an island? It will be away from the hustle and bustle of life and you and your guests will enjoy the seclusion. This couple tied the knot on Tybee Island, South Carolina and you can tell that to them no one else mattered in world. If you decide to get married away from it all, it allows many choices for your wedding. You can be simple or fancy. It's up to you. This couple leaned towards simplicity but added little tidbits to give it some pizzazz.

The bride's gown was stunning. She looked like a princess in her strapless dress. She only wore pearl drop earrings. She did not even need a necklace. Her sandals with the pearl accessories was a great complement for her earrings. It was a perfect choice because of the beach setting for the ceremony. She did not even need to change for the reception because her shoes were comfortable.

The bouquets for the bride and her party were just spectacular choices. The bride's bouquet as well as that of the maid of honor had an assortment of knick knacks and flowers with signs in diamonds that said bride and maid of honor. The other members just had a simple bunch of flowers.

The ceremony took place on the beach between a canopy created with cloth draped from poles in the sand. You felt as though they were the only people in the world. You got the sense that they were all by themselves

The bridesmaids were not dressed in the usual long matching gowns. They wore short black dresses and sandals. They looked so comfortable but they definitely looked dressed up. It was fancy yet laid back.  The groom and groomsmen wore tan suits that matched the color of the sand. Their blue ties blended in well with the water. It was a comfortable ensemble for a beach wedding. They did not even wear boutonnierres.

The reception took place under a tent on the beach. Great setting for this wedding. They just looked so relaxed. The wedding cake was simple with only two layers but the details made it look spectacular.

If you want to have a ceremony away from it all but you want a beach setting, consider selecting a venue like Tybee Island, South Carolina. The options are endless of how you can turn this serene atmosphere into your own little world.
