Duke University Fine Art Engagement Session. In North Carolina, it’s no small secret that Duke University has one of the most beautiful campuses. So, it was only fitting that Shaily and Saurabh, who attended and graduated with their MBA from the institution's Fuqua School of Business, captured engagement photos there. And since the two met and fell in love during the rigorous few years at Duke, these moments are held even more near and dear to their hearts as they now live in New York City. The campus teems with Collegiate Gothic architecture including arches, finials, gargoyles, parapets, and tracery and there isn't a more impressive example of this than the awe-inspiring Duke Chapel.
Shaily and Saurabh both have impeccable style. Shaily wears a darling patterned dress full of vibrant colors. Saurabh balances it out with a light blue button-down shirt and dark pants. The two are first spotted holding hands and smiling in front of the chapel's gorgeous doors.
It’s the perfect first stop for showing off her beautiful ring!
And it’s hard to deny their chemistry. Saurabh plants a smooch right on Shaily’s cheek and she doesn’t seem to mind one bit.
They take a quick seat on the front steps. Smiling and laughing, one can see their complete outfits. Shaily wears nude heels while Saurabh shows off his funky socks.
The magnolia trees were blooming as the two made their way around. They stopped in front of many notable spots, even sitting underneath one of the many arches.
Within the North Carolina Piedmont forest that surrounds the university, Saurabh lifts his bride and affectionately offers a kiss.
They take time to commemorate the beautiful landscape and sit on a bench together. Could this be reminiscent of their days as students?
They cross over from the Duke Chapel placing its characteristic tower in the distance. The stonework and the grand architecture make this a truly captivating scene.
And of course, no photo session on Duke’s campus would be complete without a casual stop at the “Krzyzewskiville” sign near Cameron Indoor Stadium.
It goes without saying that Shaily and Saurabh were dedicated MBA students during their time at Duke University, but what a wonderful thing to also say you went through the whole experience with the love of your life by your side. Now they have matching degrees, beautiful photos, and the promise of forever to remember their days at Duke and begin a new adventure in New York.
