Classic Aiken SC Styled Shoot. South Carolina is known as the “Palmetto State” for a reason. This shoot leans heavily on the abundance of palms and the sweet simplicity of the The Willcox in Downtown Aiken, South Carolina. It features a heavy dose of classic black and white with the addition of vibrant green.
In almost each photo, the beauty of palms and ferns can be seen, alongside black and white elements. Both the bride and groom have their own unique way to tie in the color palette, whether it’s her black heels or his white tie.
The Willcox has a stunning and immaculate white courtyard. The table is set with a gorgeous arrangement of white roses and greenery on top of a simple gray linen.
Place settings include clear chargers, white dinner plates, and black napkins. A small leaf, handwritten menu card, and crystal stemware round the look.
The couple are seated in beautiful black chairs that offset the amount of white in the background. She dons a classic white tulle ball gown while he wears an equally classic black tuxedo.
They look stunning and sophisticated standing on the brick pathway of the courtyard. Her bouquet mirrors the flowers of the table and her hair and makeup are flawless.
They even tuck a small leaf in her updo, which coordinates perfectly with the groom’s wispy boutonniere.
