Letterpress Touch – Wedding Invitatons

Monday, March 12th, 2012

One beautiful way to impress guests with your wedding invitation is to have the invitations or envelopes feature a letterpress stamp. The embossed font creates a beautiful set and the choice of writing or font color creates a breathtaking invitation. No matter what type of wedding you want, from a classic or minimal ceremony and reception to an eclectic affair, invitations with a letterpress fit perfectly. The choice of invitation style, envelope and color options will complete the entire look for you and set the mood for the big day.

Guests will appreciate an embossed invitation, because it looks and feels special – and one that not everyone sends around, so it will definitely be a unique option. Use different fonts to complement the vibe you want for the wedding – or combine a few fonts to create a one-of-a-kind invitation. After you have picked out the font or colors you want, the material of the paper or envelope will complete the entire look.

Unique Wedding Invitations

Friday, March 9th, 2012

Wedding invitations are important for a couple of reasons: they set the theme or tone of the wedding and give your guests something to look forward to as the special day approaches. There are no limits to what wedding invitations can look like – they can be sleek and simple, or more interactive and colorful to match the personality of the bride and groom.

A gorgeous invitation idea is one that looks like a small scrapbook, complete with photo of the beautiful couple, ceremony and reception information and any other advice you’d like to give your guests. These options are perfect for destination weddings, since you’ll want to share information on accommodations, maps to designated locations or suggestions on attire.

If scrapbooks are out of the budget range, think about binding the invitation with twine or ribbon.

Multi-folding invitations are a beautiful option to give out the information, without the bulk. Colors, font choice and design may be customized to complement your wedding decor.

Modern Wedding Invitations

Wednesday, March 7th, 2012

Modern wedding invitations are now full of beautiful graphics, colors and fonts to show off the style of the future bride and groom.

Invitations are more than just a source of information for the guests – they can be used to tell the story of the loving couple. Graphics of iconic destinations, such as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, may be used to set the theme of a Parisian chic wedding or illustrate where the beautiful couple became engaged.

Vibrant colors bring life to modern wedding invitations. Use colors to represent the season in which the wedding takes place, or use the colors of the wedding itself to set the tone on the invitations. For spring, summer or fall weddings, warm and energetic colors are perfect options.

For winter weddings, using the Christmas ornament theme is appropriate and there are plenty of ways to do it to stay modern, such as using a refreshing color palette of cream, purple and lime green.

Miniature kits that contain accommodation, response and reception cards look chic in folded invitations, and the beautiful colors or designs reflect the couple on their big day!

Wedding Inspiration Shoot Wilmington,NC

Thursday, December 1st, 2011
Once you decide to tie the knot, the wheels begin to turn and the ideas begin to flow. You think back to every wedding that you have attended and everyone that you have seen in the movies or on t.v. You might already have your dream wedding in your mind. But now you have to see if you can make your dream come to life. We recently did a photo shoot at The Balcony on Dock in Wilmington, North Carolina which we hope will provide inspiration for your imagination. If you pay attention to details and think outside of the box, you can make your dreams come true.
For example, let’s look at the table decor. We showed you how crystal can be very elegant. The napkins that we use make the crystal sparkle because of the richness of the color we selected. The simple floral arrangement was a nice touch because the color of the flowers matched the napkins. The ribbons on the back of the chairs also blended in with the table decorations. Also, look at the bride and groom chairs. The groom’s chair has cloth that is similar to a tie and the bride’s is much more dainty.

The name placards might be considered a necessary but simple accessory. However, you can also spice them up to match the decor. As you can see, we used diamond studs to accent the cards. It made something simple instantly elegant.
We can’t forget the desserts. We show you how cupcakes can be just as special as a traditional wedding cake. For example, look at the his/her cupcakes. His cupcake has a top hat and hers has a pearl ring. They are accented with the pearl necklace. We also displayed cake pops and a table that combined cupcakes and a wedding cake together. We just wanted to show you that you have plenty of options and you can make your selections based on your budget and preference.
Love how the sun is coming through in this photo !
The dresses are stunning. They are a blend of the traditional gown with the train but with a modern flair. They are complemented well by the hair accessories and styles.

Now check out this bouquet !! Isn’t this amazing? I love how some of the green dangles.

We hope that you have allowed your imagination to start running and realized that you can have the wedding of your dreams on any budget.

A Special Thanks to all the awesome vendors !! We will be posting some more pics tomorrow.

Yellow, Gray and White Invitations

Saturday, October 15th, 2011

Yellow is becoming a more used color in weddings. I love how it really pops. I love the combination of gray, yellow and white. Choosing your main color can really depend on your style. Are you modern, simple or bold? I would say choose yellow as main color if your bold. Gray for your main if your modern and white as your main color if your simple. Either way this is a great color combo. Here are a couple samples of this color combo together. All invitations from minted.com Photos By: www.keepsakemp.com
