Cute Knitpix Handmade Purses for Bridesmaids

Tuesday, May 15th, 2012

It is such a challenge trying to figure out what to get your bridesmaids. You want to give them something to let them how much they mean to you. You want to give them something to remember your special day.  We have a great suggestion. Why not consider, totes or purses? It is something that can definitely use after the wedding but can also be used during the ceremony as well. Knit Pix is a company that designs totes and clutches. The company offers a wide selection of totes that your bridesmaids can have to cherish. They can use them for the beach, shopping or even as a pocketbook. You could also have them designed to match the color scheme of your wedding.

Even though I love the totes, the clutches are just darling. The blue one with the wrist strap is great.

Look at the white purse with the flower. This would be perfect for the bridal party to use for the ceremony and to have as momentoes afterward.

If you want a gift that your bridesmaids will be able to use during and after the wedding, definitely consider Knit Pix. They will fondly remember your day each time they use the tote or purse made just for them.

You know the look. The beautiful wedding gown with the matching veil. If you want the same effect but don’t want to be too traditional why not consider a vintage inspired dress?

Look at this gown. This lace dress is just spectacular as it rests just off the shoulders. The hair accessory as well as the pearls around the neck and in the hair are perfect accents. You get the wow effect but it is a simpler look.

Now, the big day is over. What are you going to do with the dress? Are you saving it for your daughter? Are you going to sell it? If you are not emotionally attached to your gown or don’t need to recoup some of your wedding expenses, why not consider a trash the dress session.
It is a great way to blow off some steam and have fun at the same time. Your photographer will take pictures of you essentially trashing your dress.
So when deciding on your wedding gown, consider all of your options. Once the wedding day is done, have some fun and trash your dress. You will have a great time and get pictures to treasure for years to come. How often will you get to be a model? Take this once in a lifetime opportunity. You won’t regret it.

Unique Garters

Thursday, March 1st, 2012
Isn’t the garter just a part of the wedding attire? Do you have to give much thought to it? Well, we think you should consider all of your options since it will be seen by all of your guests. The tradition of tossing the garter dates back to fourteenth-century France. They considered pieces of the bride’s attire lucky, and guests would rip off pieces of her gown. To fight them off, the bride would throw them her garter! In modern times, her groom does it for her to fend off all those reception guests. Legend holds that the lucky bachelor who gets the garter will be next to get hitched.

As you can see from the pictures, they come in various shapes and sizes. You can choose a simple lace one or one that is more fancy like the garter with the flower. No matter which one you select, remember it is a part of your attire.Pick the one that fits your wedding theme and have fun.

Wedding Inspiration Shoot Wilmington,NC

Thursday, December 1st, 2011
Once you decide to tie the knot, the wheels begin to turn and the ideas begin to flow. You think back to every wedding that you have attended and everyone that you have seen in the movies or on t.v. You might already have your dream wedding in your mind. But now you have to see if you can make your dream come to life. We recently did a photo shoot at The Balcony on Dock in Wilmington, North Carolina which we hope will provide inspiration for your imagination. If you pay attention to details and think outside of the box, you can make your dreams come true.
For example, let’s look at the table decor. We showed you how crystal can be very elegant. The napkins that we use make the crystal sparkle because of the richness of the color we selected. The simple floral arrangement was a nice touch because the color of the flowers matched the napkins. The ribbons on the back of the chairs also blended in with the table decorations. Also, look at the bride and groom chairs. The groom’s chair has cloth that is similar to a tie and the bride’s is much more dainty.

The name placards might be considered a necessary but simple accessory. However, you can also spice them up to match the decor. As you can see, we used diamond studs to accent the cards. It made something simple instantly elegant.
We can’t forget the desserts. We show you how cupcakes can be just as special as a traditional wedding cake. For example, look at the his/her cupcakes. His cupcake has a top hat and hers has a pearl ring. They are accented with the pearl necklace. We also displayed cake pops and a table that combined cupcakes and a wedding cake together. We just wanted to show you that you have plenty of options and you can make your selections based on your budget and preference.
Love how the sun is coming through in this photo !
The dresses are stunning. They are a blend of the traditional gown with the train but with a modern flair. They are complemented well by the hair accessories and styles.

Now check out this bouquet !! Isn’t this amazing? I love how some of the green dangles.

We hope that you have allowed your imagination to start running and realized that you can have the wedding of your dreams on any budget.

A Special Thanks to all the awesome vendors !! We will be posting some more pics tomorrow.
