Cancun Mexico Wedding at Royalton Riviera
Cancun Mexico wedding at the Royalton Riviera. Thirty close friends and family members traveled to Cancun, Mexico, for Gina and Matt’s destination wedding. Their laidback day featured yoga in the morning, a heartfelt ceremony, and an intimate reception overlooking the beach. Not to mention, everyone was privy to amazing front row views of Mexico.
This South Dakota couple got engaged on the beach when Matt proposed with a “perfect” sand dollar. So, their beachside wedding affair was a wonderful way to celebrate their union.
Gina was an elegant, beachy bride who kept her look classic and simple. She chose lace flats to accompany her lovely strapless lace gown.
She wore her hair down and curled to channel the seaside vibe.
While the bride's accessories included earrings, Matt accessorized his white linen shirt and khaki pants with a gorgeous watch.
With seagulls witnessing the affair, the couple joined hands under an arbor flanked with palm trees. They said “I do” and sealed their handwritten vows with a kiss.
Gina’s bridesmaids looked radiant in navy blue gowns that stood out on the bright white beaches.
The couple soaked up every second of the sun and sand as they took pictures along the beach. After capturing their first moments as husband and wife, it was time to celebrate.

They made their way up to the reception where everyone could witness the storm clouds rolling in the distance. Reception tables featured bright white linens and centerpieces made with pink flowers that provided pops of color.
The couple included a clever and unique touch by having each guest’s name laser cut in wood for their place setting.
Gina and Matt grabbed each other close as they had their first dance under the stars.
Nothing can top a beautiful couple getting married on a beautiful beach. With family and friends to tag along, this Cancun, Mexico, wedding was a destination dream come true for Gina and Matt.
