Historic Smithonia Farm GA Wedding
Atlanta Georgia wedding at Historic Smithonia Farm. It was all about the color pink, rustic romance, and the beautiful Georgia countryside for Haley and Jordan’s southern wedding. Their outdoor affair was classic with a refreshing touch of vintage country touches. And of course, a few Georgia peaches were thrown into the mix.
Their invitation suite featured white stationary with the inclusion of modern black calligraphy for a crisp and clean impression.
Haley’s bouquet featured eye-popping statement blooms like grand pink peonies, white and cream roses, hydrangea, and greenery.
Haley looked radiant in a V-neck A-line gown and accessorized with a floral headpiece nestled in her updo and elbow-length veil. Her bridesmaids wore two-piece dresses with white lace tops and pink skirts.
Jordan wore a gray suit with a pink tie, while all his groomsmen coordinated in gray suits with blue ties. They were a handsome and colorful group.
Even the flower girl and ring bearer looked well-coordinated, and adorable, for the main event.
The couple asked guests to “unplug” from the ceremony and be fully present. Lanterns splashed with eucalyptus hung from the tree branches where the ceremony took place.
Under the shade of the towering tree, Haley and Jordan became husband and wife. They sealed their vows with a kiss before facing their loving congregation.
After the ceremony, they roamed the property for photos. Haley removed her veil and let the open back of her gown take center stage.
A handmade sign told guests the program for the evening. Guests enjoyed a social hour followed by the reception in the open-air barn.
Long wooden tables left natural and uncovered welcomed guests. Each place setting included beautiful china, and of course, a ripe Georgia peach.
The reception featured a Southern menu, complete with a biscuit bar, shrimp and grits station, macaroni and cheese station, and a BBQ station.
The sweetest part of the day was the cake. The simple, yet stunning creation featured three buttercream-covered tiers with pearl bands and a statement pink peony on top.
This sweet, Southern wedding was everything Haley and Jordan dreamed of. With the love of family and friends, they celebrated their union in complete Georgia style – as sweet as the peaches and as comforting as the setting summer sun.
