When Luke and Jelissa got married in Abbotsford, British Colombia Canada, they had such a festive affair partially because of the all of the vibrant colors that they used.
Jelissa was absolutely stunning. Her gown was magnificent. It was a halter dress that was A-line and fit her perfectly. We loved the details on the bodice. The train on the dress was more even amazing because of the style of the gown. Jelissa wore her hair in a bun with cascading curls. You could not have chosen a better hairstyle for this ensemble. The netting in her hair was also wonderful. For her jewelry, she did not wear a necklace but she did have a bracelet and earrings.
The groom, Luke, was dressed in his military uniform, which happened to be red. The groomsmen wore blue suits with purple vests and boutonnieres. What a colorful combination?
The color started with the bride, Jelissa and set the tone for this wedding. She did not wear white shoes but red. Her lipstick was also red. This definitely fit in perfectly with the groom. Her bouquet was so vibrant and had all of the colors for these nuptials. It had red, blue, purple and white flowers.
The bridesmaids wore charcoal dresses that matched the groomsmen. Their bouquets were just as vibrant as the bride's. They had red and purple flowers.
The use of colors continued into the reception. They had purple and white balls hanging on the wall. They also used purple and red pillows in another location. The table settings were so nice. They had blue runners with lace on top. They also placed purple and blue napkins in the glasses. It was amazing how they were able to transform a local hall just by adding some color.
Colors can brighten any wedding day. If you have a smaller budget, it will make it more elaborate. If money is not an issue, it will make it more festive. You can never go wrong by adding bold colors to your nuptials. Be bold. Be brave. Add some color to your special day.
