Thinking of the colors for your wedding and you simply love black and white. But everyone tells you it will be boring or blah. The desert table is becoming such a big hit at weddings. There are so many dessert choices. You can find some classic treats. Like chocolate chip cookies, smores, rice krispy treats and chocolate covered pretzels. Also add in a variety of chocolate candies. This was a DIY sweets/dessert table.

Giving guests options makes it more fun.

This striking couple incorporated many vintage pieces into the wedding, which shows off the personality of the bride and groom and creates elegant decor for the reception. Eline is stunning in her fitted mermaid-style gown, and a short, chic veil accents her lovely soft curls. The bouquet, filled with fresh pastel flowers, looks beautiful with her gown.

The bridesmaids wore gorgeous short dresses, complete with layers of appliquéd lace.

Thys-Koch looked handsome in his tan suit, and as a couple, they were picture-perfect.

The decor at the wedding had many special touches. Guests were given printed programs, designed to be a special wedding issue for the bride and groom. Beautiful pink and purple flowers dressed up the dining tables in different style vases or jars to give the space an elegant, shabby chic look. Old French doors served as a holder for postcards of the happy couple, and assorted linens were used at all of the place settings in the reception site to create a soft, classic appearance. What a beautiful vintage inspired wedding !

I know your probaly thinking what does granite have to do with these cakes. Well look closely at pattern on these cakes. Doesn’t it remind you of a cool granite counter top. It’s hard to believe the pattern is a cake. I have never seen any cakes like this before. These cakes are made by a true artist. The way the paint sits on the cake reminds me of paint on a stone.

These would be a  awesome wedding cake selection for a musuem wedding or a artistic couple. Or even the couple wanting something really unique.

This beautiful couple chose the Summerlees Estate to exchange vows on a gorgeous, sunny day. Holly looked stunning in her gown, which complemented her skin and hair perfectly. The dress had a flowing, soft structure that worked well for the outdoor wedding.

Her groom, Kevin, looked great in a fitted suit. Love simply radiates from this couple – you can just see the romance between the two!

Holly and Kevin used many of the beautiful locations around the estate to take photographs and interject their personality into each photo to create fun, whimsical memories.

The reception looked crisp with white chairs and table settings, and an abundance of natural light. Blue and purple flowers served as centerpieces for the long tables, and the pop of color gave the reception venue a burst of elegance. A dessert bar was set up using colorful candies and large, clear jars – perfect for guests to sample throughout the festivities.
